Your Weekend Guide for things to Do in Minneapolis: July 12-14

Is there anything better than a festival?  I can think of only one thing—music festivals!  I don’t know if I enjoy anything more than a cold drink in my hand and good tunes to listen to, especially in our beautiful Minneapolis!  This weekend, get outside and get your groove on at one of the many music festivals happening in our rocking region.

Lakefront Music Fest 2019 at Lakefront Park
Prior Lake, MN

Lakefront Music Fest kicks off it’s tenth year of festivities this Friday in Prior Lake!  This two-day music festival is a staple in the area.  Friday’s performers include headliner Steve Miller Band, Joan Jett & the Black hearts, and Marty Stuart & his Fabulous Superlatives.  Even more, including Brad Paisley, are scheduled to perform Saturday.  KOOL 108’s own Adam West will Emcee.  For more information including showtimes, ticket prices, and parking information, visit the event’s website at www.lakefrontmusicfest.com.

Roots, Rock & Deep Blues Festival 2019 at the Hook & Ladder Theatre and Lounge

Looking to get back to your roots this weekend?  This two-day music festival, which starts on Friday and continues into Saturday, is a fundraiser for A Firehouse PAC and seeks to celebrate bluegrass and Americana music.
