Your Weekend Guide for things to Do in Minneapolis: August 30-September 1

Well, Minneapolis, we’re here: the last weekend of summer 2019. Before we know it, we’ll be
carving pumpkins, taking hayrides, and even breaking out ice skates and sleds to go out for some
winter-time fun! But don’t count summer out quite yet—there are a few more days left before
we wave goodbye to those dog days of summer. Here are a few events happening this weekend
in our beautiful Twin Cities Regions:

Friday, August 30
Retro Game Show Night at Can Can Wonderful
St. Paul, MN

Find a babysitter this Friday and head out for a night on the town! Have you ever watched
shows like Let’s Make a Deal, Match Game, Family Feud, $50 Pyramid, or the Price is Right,
and thought that you’d like to take a more active role in the proceedings? Now is your chance!
Every Friday, Can Can Wonderful puts on their Retro Game Show Night. Contestants have the
chance to win fabulous prizes while having a blast. If sitting back and viewing is more your
speed, then get a drink and have some laughs. All proceeds go directly to the performing artists
involved in the show. For more information, visit the event’s website.
